Ross's Prima Facie Duties

Is this ethical theory too vague to be helpful? Or too vague to be wrong?

I have to admit that I'm one of Ross' fans. You might worry that his view doesn't give determinate advice, but it's important to remember that before listing his principles of prima facie duty, he has argued that the monistic theories that seem to give more determinate advice give the wrong advice.

It doesn't make much sense to complain that some theory doesn't give determinate advice when the alternatives yield verdicts that are determinate but wrong.
