I remember her coming over from Oxford when I was doing philosophy at Cambridge. I don't think she was meant to be lecturing but she sat in on someone else's lectures. I forget who gave the lecture or the subject because she dominated the room.

However, I didn't learn anything. I suspect she was a poor teacher - too obsessed with herself and the show she was putting on. This is the besetting sin of philosophy lecturers. They often treat their lectures as ego trips. There is no correlation between the fame of the philosopher and the quality of their teaching.
