Legalize illegal immigration yes or no?

There's only one problem. It's logically impossible. You can't make it legal to enter the country illegally.

Logical impossibility? That's never stopped us before!

well, to legalize "illegal" immigration is to legalize the various ways in which people have came over without adhering to the processes which the U.S. establishes for immigration.

What I think has to be done is to 1) secure the borders and 2) after that's done, get the current illegals out of the shadows so they both pay taxes and get the protections due to any other workers and 3) have a clear process by which they can become legal--though I think that since they did it the wrong way, they should have to go to the back of the line after all legal immigrants in the queue as of the date such a law goes into effect.
