Pat, what an idiot. So countries along the Pacific Rim are more likely to be aligned with Satan?

It's not just the religious nuts speaking out when they should either be keeping silent or saying something edifying, we have Danny Glover blaming this earthquake in Haiti on the recent failure in Copenhagen. Oh, and there's Sharon Stone in May of 2008 spouting the Chinese treatment of Tibet as the cause for the earthquake in Sichuan. Karma? Really?

Both are good arguments for not sending my hard earned dollars in the general direction of Hollywood...

Pat Robertson thinks natural disasters may be the freely chosen actions of demonic agents?

Are you confusing him with Alvin Plantinga?

I have a serious question here. Many of you believe in a perfect being who knew that the quake would occur and could have prevented it from occurring. You think it's bad that it occurred, but you think there was good reason for God not to intervene. In fact, you think there was good enough reason for God not to intervene that you claim that you should still worship this being knowing everything you know. Sure, Robertson said something stupid by saying what reason God had for sitting on his hands. But, you're in just as bad a boat as Pat if you believe in a perfect being. You just know better than to speak up.

I'm sure I'm missing something here. Some of you are experts. What do you know that Pat doesn't and the atheist doesn't?
