Okay, Victor, I read what I could without subscribing.
This is just an unctious anti-war screed, draped in radical chic pacifism. It caricatures American Evangelicals at every turn. Leaves no question unbegged. Reeks of smug self-righteousness, couched in cheap piety and mock humility.
It is quite possible to raise principled objections to the Iraq war. But a hit-piece like this is just a feel good exercise as the writer administers a sanctimonious pat to his own back.
