The Celtics take the lead

The Lakers, in the last game, looked like a one-man team. If this continues, then no matter how well Kobe plays, there will be another championship banner hanging from the rafters in Boston.

Anybody know why is sell-tics and not kel-tics?

sell-tics? What a straight line. But don't worry. This is going 7.

I heard "sell" came from the Normans.

Where have you gone Magic,
our nation turns its lonely eyes to you.

Even Jordan needed Pippen. One man can't win it all by himself.

And now we could ask if the Selltics have any hope. I'm rooting for them, but not betting on them.

I am a Laker fan but very disappointed with how this series has gone. I have not appreciated the refereeing, as almost in every game some key person was taken out because of foul trouble when they committed non-existent fouls (and I mean from BOTH teams). I have not appreciated the games (not well played at all, except for times when good defense was played, again by BOTH teams). And worst of all injuries (I really would have loved to have seen a healthy Bynum for the whole series and not seeing Perkins get hurt and miss the final game). I want to see teams play to their capabilities, without interference by refs or injuries. Instead someone will win what was a thoroughly tainted series in nearly every respect. If the Lakers win (which I want as a Laker fan, gotta be honest!) it will be severely tainted without Perkins in there (that is **not** the Celtics that play such great defense). If the Celtics win, I gotta give them credit, they will have shown great mental toughness and teamwork. No matter who wins, it is not what it could have and should have been.

And regarding BDK's comment, if you guys win it will be based on sheer toughness and mental focus (and I can respect that). It won't be boring tonight, but either way it will be tainted for me, nevertheless "Go Lakers go, Boston . . ."
