College is not a safe space for Christians, and that is just fine

Here.

I don't think Saint Paul was looking for "safe spaces" as he traveled the Ancient World spreading the word.

"They stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city [of lystra], supposing that he was dead. But when the disciples gathered about him, he rose up and entered the city." (Acts 14:19-20)

Just think about the courage. The people of Lystra had just stoned Paul and believed they had actually killed him. So what does he do when he comes to? He gets up and walks right back in!

It's perfectly fine to have a chapel on campus, or a Christian-themed dormitory, and those could be safe spaces. On the other hand, it's ridiculous to suppose the whole campus could be a safe space for anyone's cherished beliefs.
