dangerous idea

This is a blog to discuss philosophy, chess, politics, C. S. Lewis, or whatever it is that I'm in the mood to discuss.

Steve Lovell's Doctoral Dissertation on Lewis and Philosophy

This is really excellent work on Lewis. It was completed the same year my book was published.

I know so little about philosophy that I'd have to look it up in Wikuipedia before I could ask a question about it. However, reading "Mere Christianity" thirty years ago was the pivotal point that marked my turning from agnosticism to Christ. And it wasn't even the whole book - I was thumbing around and fell upon the page with the Trilemma, long before I ever knew that's what it was called or that it was significant to other people, too.

In our day, we could use more who think and write as he did.

I've read some of what Lovell has written and some of what atheists have written. It gives me reason to think what a man thinks so he is.
