Beating up science and the Bible to fortify this poor interpretation is such a waste of time. At best its unnecessary, at worst it can lead young believers out of the faith when they realize dinosaurs and people didn't live next to each other.
Jim is correct here. Some of my friends who also believe in BioLogos (nice phrase btw) pointed out that a day-age reading of Genesis works perfectly, but to me, Genesis still sounds like poetry.
I would rather point to Michael Dowd's masterpiece "Thank God for Evolution" than to AiG.

Vic, CMI and AIG aren't exactly interchangeable terms. I wonder, have you followed the drama between the two camps the past year?
