Anniversary

This is the 42nd anniversary of C. S. Lewis's death. Oh yeah, there were a couple of other guys who died the same day. I forget their names.

Well, I know JFK also died on Nov 23, 1963. I'm embarrassed to say I don't remember anyone else famous who died on that day, though.

(Actually, I'm also embarrassed that I never can remember the exact date or year--I've always only remembered it was Nov sometime, either in 62 or 63.)

Does Narnia open in theaters this weekend? That would be a nice salute... {g}

JFK, Aldous Huxley, and CSL all died on Nov. 22, 1963. Some of us are old enough to remember that day, others are not. I remember hearing about JFK in the Orangedale Elementary School lunch line when I was in Mrs. Tenney's fifth grade class. Later I remember our music teacher was in tears about it.

I think Narnia comes out Dec. 9.
