David's Adoration of God

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.

'1 Chronicles 29:11-12, (NLT)

There are verses in the Bible that remind me of my youth. This is one of them.

Sitting in the barracks at Rhein-Main AFB as a new believer reading through the Bible before going on to duty. Believing, I mean really believing, before going on to the next mission.

Then there was the University, and 28 years of marriage and going, and kids growing up (one working on a degree in Philosophy at UC), church splits, all kinds of deaths and other mayhem.

For some reason, the need to worship The Lord is still true.
