It would be interesting to find out if atheists/agnostics experience a disproportioinate number of the reported distressing or "hellish" Near-death experiences...
I experienced a NDE after a car accident. While in the emergency room my heart stopped for a little over 6 minutes. I quess my experience could be called no experience at all. I saw nothing, I didn't even know anything had happened until the hospital staff had told me. I don't know what to take from this. It is just what happened.
