Nov. 22, 1963

Aldous Huxley died on this date in 1963. So did a couple of other famous people.

  1. As Jefferson Starship sang on their debut album, "Blows Against the Empire":

Lord, I remember the 23rd of November!

  2. Why they got the date wrong, I can never figure out.

  3. I checked out the lyrics on the web, just to make sure I was hearing them right. There are some variant readings on various sites. Some say "Lord, I remember" and others have "You know I remember", but no one disputes "the 23rd of November."

I can find no explanation as to what the date signified to Paul Kantner (the song writer).

  4. Listened to an interview with the Moody Blues once. They were asked what their mystical lyrics really meant.

Lodge replied he was just looking for words that rhymed. Don't lose any sleep over it.

  6. Victor thinks we're slow students.

Don't worry, pretty sure most knew of JFK and C.S Lewis.
