Are scientists more valuable than people in the humanities?

  1. If a scientist has too narrow an education, he can be a danger to society.

When people suggest the humanities are worthless, they often assume the humanities scholar knows only humanities, without any practical or scientific knowledge at all. This is a hilarious straw man.

All people need both types of education.
