Jay Richards on the AFR

Here.

  1. I think the core of the AFR is in this statement:

"Naturalism doesn't contain such ingredients as minds, propositions, perceptions and logical relations. It contains elementary particles and attractive forces, chemical reactions, quantum fields, and the like."

All the naturalist must do to defeat the AFR is show that minds really are made of particles, forces, reactions etc.

  2. All the theist has to do to defend that AFR is show that there is something other than physical matter and forces that comprises the mental activity of the brain.

Perhaps they'll give an argument which concludes that on pain of the denier denying their own rationality.
