I don't understand why we're still debating materialism. Clearly, matter doesn't subsume everything that exists. I'd even go so far as to say that, from a certain vantage point, matter doesn't exist, or, to put it more precisely, that the existence of matter is virtual, i.e., it depends upon us experiencing certain features of the manifest world as inert and/or senseless. (One can say the same thing about minds, mutatis mutandis.) It is merely a concept to which our sense of reality is bound (again like the concept of mind).
